About the Muse:

The charmed life of Miss La Muse led her to Winnipeg, Manitoba where she has become the most notorious burlesque performer of the prairies- Now dubbed as Winnipeg's biggest name and ambassador of Burlesque! Her style and inspiration is a seductive brew of classic European burlesque, retro nostalgia, vaudeville, film noir and whimsy with a modern twist.

Born and raised in Cape Breton Island. She was always a wild child who had difficulty keeping her clothes on and studied theatre. Craving adventure at eighteen, she fled to England where she discovered burlesque. The glove fit!

Miss La Muse produces vaudevillian style burlesque shows with her troop Moonlight Madness as well as performs solo for art shows, special events, bands, even celebrities! She is a passionate artist who lives up to the name of being a muse having graced the stage, film, camera and canvas. She has a background in theatre, film, sings and does fine arts modeling as well as retro pin-ups! Not bad for the petite red head in her 20's!

She has been featured on CBC television, danced with snakes in Far Point Films documentary 'Winnipeg Burlesque' and Absurd Machine Studios thriller 'Aegri Somnia'. She is regularly praised by the Winnipeg Free Press and other media.

In over five years Miss La Muse is quickly becoming a rising star in the world of high tease burlesque.
